It has been raining here for the past four days. I knew that Monday was going to need some help if we were going to get through it gracefully. So, we met some friends at Discovery Place and played for a couple of hours this afternoon. All of the kids love this huge water table, but Nova could play with it all day every day.

His other favorite part of the museum (and a big hit with the other kids, too) is the interactive aquarium. You can reach in and touch hermit crabs and starfish and sea urchins. There are also lots of beautiful fish swimming around in tanks.


So, basically we escaped playing in cold rainy weather by playing in cold water all afternoon. Ironic, but it worked.
