faery house festival

We went to the first annual Faery House Festival at Latta Nature Preserve today. It was so much fun!! We met some friends, and built faery houses on the trail. There were lots of other people there, and so many beautiful faery houses that we spent a couple of hours looking at all of them.




Tim and Clover had such a good time building a faery house. The boys helped off and on, but they were much more interested in collecting materials. They ran all over the woods gathering big sticks and sycamore balls and beautiful leaves.




It was so wonderful to hang out in the woods with friends all afternoon. The faery houses are going to stay on the trail, and people are invited to continue building. We have plans to check back often and do more building soon!
