For co-op, we heard a lovely story about the Lupine Lady. As a child, she was told by her old uncle that she must do something to make the world more beautiful. So, in her old age she began to sprinkle lupine seeds everywhere. They bloomed and made the world (literally) a more beautiful place. It was a great story.
We used pink, blue, and purple watercolor paint to make wet-on-wet watercolor paintings of lupines.
We had lunch, and took a walk on the faery house trail. The kids picked up lots of trash that people had thrown onto the trail and in the lake. The amount of trash was kind of sad. I'm hoping that we can be helpful each week in keeping that trail better maintained.
The kids waded and splashed until it was time to go home. It is so much fun to have a sandy little beach and some water!
