nature walk Tuesday

I made the decision on Tuesday to ignore school work, and go for a hike in the beautiful sunshine instead. Our nature walk day is usually Friday, but I knew that rain was predicted for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. So, I decided that we could do our nature walk on Tuesday and start our three day rhythm on Wednesday.




We found this random tall table in one of the picnic areas, and the boys had a wonderful time playing all over it. They had some sort of very extensive game going on for about an hour!



We had such a wonderful time, and when I woke up this morning to pouring rain, I felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude for being able to soak up all of that sunshine yesterday!
