It was only about 27 degrees outside when we woke up this morning. I spent almost an hour finding layers for everyone. I have a huge basket by my front door. It is full of hats, mittens, socks, hoodies, and jackets. When we leave the house, I move it from the front door right to the van. It is the most effective way to make sure that we always have plenty of layers.
For Nature Walk Friday, we met our good friends Colleen, Asa, and Ruth at a state park near our house. We had a wonderful walk - much more brisk than usual. The kids were too cold to wander off of the trail too much!! We almost got warm toward the end of our walk because we were moving so quickly!
Hurray for nature walks!!!
