Charlotte's birthday tea

Clover's doll Charlotte celebrated her third birthday this afternoon with tea and cake. We had so much fun getting ready for the party. Clover made a delicious maple cake from the Waldorf Snack Book. It turned out beautifully!

The kids decorated the table with flowers and candles. We made iced jasmine Tulsi tea, and had ice cream with the maple cake.

Everyone put so much thought into Charlotte's gift. It was really sweet to see the boys carefully choose and wrap gifts for her. Indigo gave her a turtle made from seashells, Nova gave her a marble, and Willow made a musical instrument from a cardboard box and rubber bands. Clover made a new necklace and bracelet for her, and we worked together on the knitted chicken. Charlotte had a very nice birthday!

Happy Birthday Charlotte! I love the gifts - your boys are so kind and full of heart. Lela was intrigued at the idea of Charlotte having a birthday, so perhaps Marina will have one this September.

Happy Birthday Charlotte! Such a lovely post with such lovely children. I can't wait to show these pictures to Leah Catherine - she talks about Clover's Charlotte often!
