During the dry spots, we have played outside and worked in the garden a little bit.
During the rainy times, we have snuggled on the couch for reading time, baked bread, made smoothie pops, and even squeezed in a little learning time.
When Tim got home this afternoon, the rain had completely stopped. We worked on our "golden beds" and "brown roads". So far, we have planted potatoes, carrots, onions, cucumbers, snap peas, and zucchini. We are trying to get the tomato patch and the butternut squash patch planted this week. Tim tilled a patch for watermelons and pumpkins, but we will probably wait for the weekend to plant those.
