scones & books
For kindergarten today, we made scones. We are learning the number 8 this week, so Indigo and Willow counted out piles of 8 cranberries to add to the scones. They drew pictures of scones in their lesson books while the scones baked.

These were so delicious!! We took some with us to playgroup, and finished them up tonight for dessert. Tim is normally not a big scone fan, but he was impressed!
The kids did lots of reading today, too. We got a Narnia picture book from the library, and the boys want to read it over and over and over. Clover very kindly offered to read it a few times while I finished cleaning up the scone mess in the kitchen.
We got home late from playgroup and Tim was making pizza. It was so delicious. While I did more kitchen clean-up (sometimes I stay in the kitchen all day long!!), Tim helped the kids make a huge musical instrument. What fun!!

You guys have so much fun! I love the criss-cross apple sauce pose on the table! Very zen!
Willow(pretty name!)-my little one's name is Willa, but don't tell! On the blog she's "Lo".
